The manager of the diving school is Georgios Goumas, who has over 15 years experience in diving.

During the past several years, Georgios has gained experience in the technical side of diving, such as the use of mixed gases, closed circuits and rembreathers. He is an expeirienced diver of OWI, DMI, CSI.

The "Petries Divers School" was established in 2008, and quickly became a very recognised and respected diving school.

The diving school is a member of the international association of DAN EUROPE and is recognised by the Marine Ministry.

We offer a variety of diving lessons and courses for all levels of diving from amateur through to professional, as well as provide organised diving excursions around the unique waters of southern Evia.

Our diving courses follow the strict guidelines set by National and European Diving standards. Our diving school also cooperates with and issues certificates on behalf of the International Association ANDI. All of our staff are highly trained and experienced divers.

The moto of the Petries Divers School is "EXPLORE THE UNDERWATER WORLD - LEARN TO DIVE" and we are ready to make your diving dreams come true. We will provide you with the opportunity to discover the magnificent seabeds and the natural underwater beauty of this part of Greece. All diving excursions are supervised by expeirienced guides. We also rent diving equipment and can also capture your underwater experiences with plenty of photos and video.

DISCOVERY - Diving Course Discovery is 1 hour diving program ( theory and diving ). In this diving program, students will learn how to handle the scuba diving equipment. The deepest diving depth in this course is 4 meters.

JUNIOR OPEN WATER - Diving Course Junior Open Water is a diving program that is designed for students aged between 12 and 16 years of age. It is a full open water program and upon completion, the students are awarded certificates. The duration of this diving course is approximately 10 days, and the deepest diving depth is 12 meters.

OPEN WATER SPORT DIVER - Diving Course Open Water Sport Diving is a full program ( theory and diving ) that lasts for approximately 10 days. This diving course is designed for students aged 16 or over. The deepest diving depth is 20 meters. Upon completion of this course, a certificate will be issued to the students.

ADVANCED OPEN WATER - Diving Course Advanced Open Water is a program designed for divers who have experience in open water, and who wish to advance to a higher level of training. The deepest diving depth of this course is 30 meters.

SAFE AIR DIVER - Diving Course Safe Air Diver is a program where the divers are taught how to use a mixture of oxygen 21% and above.

DIVE MASTER DIVER - Diving Course Dive Master Diver is a program for experienced divers. The student would have completed all previous diving training on the Open Water level, and ranked with a high theoritical and diving level.
